United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Iran, supports the 14th International Energy Exhibition to promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #7 (SDGs) on “Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all”. The UNIDO’s Representative in Iran, Dr. Maryam Javan Shahraki will be the keynote speaker in the opening of the fair on “UNIDO’s Contributions on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in Iran.”
The 14th International Energy Exhibition will be held in Kish Int’l Exhibitions Center, Kish Island, Iran on 22– 25 January 2018 as a place to introduce the country capabilities in the fields of oil, gas, petrochemicals, water & electricity, new energy, chemicals & related industries.
UNIDO will organize two seminars for sharing the achievements of “Industrial Energy Efficiency in 5 Key Sectors (IEE) Project” which is funded by Global Environmental Facility (GEF).
The national coordinator and experts of IEE project will be available in UNIDO’s booth for sharing the projects information with the industries.
The 14th International Energy Exhibition is organized by support of Iranian stakeholders of oil and gas industry like Ministry of Petroleum, National Iranian Oil Company, National Iranian Gas Company, National Petrochemical Company, National Oil Refinery and Distribution Company, etc.
More than 200 local and foreign companies would participate in this event, to reach their target customers and share the information of available energy technology with each other.
This fair has allocated some part of its income to supporting the victims of earthquake in Kermanshah.
