On Sunday, the first day of the tenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF10) in Abu Dhabi, Ugochi Daniels, the UN Resident Coordinator and Mehmet Emin Akdogan, Chief of UN-Habitat Tehran Office met Pirouz Hanachi, Mayor of Tehran, in a joint meeting and discussed urban challenges that Tehran Metropolis is facing these days.
Organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Program, the Forum is recognized as one of the most widely held international forums and is considered as an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences on urban challenges.
This year, the Forum brought together more than 25000 international visitors, including local and regional professionals and city managers.
