Efforts to promote human rights is one of the main objectives that the UN and its agencies pursue, and these efforts will not come to anything without working to raise public awareness and information on its objectives, activities and programmes.

Efforts to promote human rights is one of the main objectives that the UN and its agencies pursue, and these efforts will not come to anything without working to raise public awareness and information on its objectives, activities and programmes. UNA-IRAN which has included the establishment of links with the UN, the international community, and the people, and also to promote UN culture in the definition of its objectives, has worked towards awareness building. To this aim following a series of talks between UNA-IRAN, and Mr. Moghadam from UNIC in Tehran, the UN System and Its Activities in Iran Education Course for Education Department Teachers and School Heads was held.
