Resume’ Writing Guidelines Workshop was held on 17 May 2009 with the attendance Azad University Students.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Education Course was held on 9-10 May with the attendance of MS students in environmental management and environmental engineering.

UN System and its activities in Iran Education Course for Law and Political Science Students was held on 13-14 and 20-21 May 2009.

On 19 August 2008, with the cooperation of UNIC, UNA-IRAN held a one day education course entitled MDG Education Course for 35 teachers and school heads of the Education Department. This course was held with the aim of promoting UN culture. Experts from various UN agencies explained each of the eight MDG, and the access process of these Goals in Iran.

On Monday the 5th of May 2008, a meeting took place between 6 students from the Political Science Institute of France and representatives from the UNA-IRAN.

This course which was held on 17-18 December 2006 (16 hours), was designed for the purpose of presentation of the concepts and principles in sustainable environmental management systems and their role in the safeguarding and controlling sustainable development.

This course was designed to present the principles and concepts of HSE, and their role in the provision and control of sustainable development. The course was held on 23 and 24 February (16 hours) with the attendance of MS students in environmental management and environmental engineering. The components of HSE management system which include leadership and commitment, policies and strategy objectives, organization, resources and documentation, assessment and risk management, planning, establishment and research, and review were taught in this two-day course.

The first Companies’ Social Responsibilities in Accomplishing MDG Conference was held on 11 November 2007 with the attendance of 30 top directors and experts from the business community of Iran in the conference hall of UNA-IRAN.

This project was designed with the aim of prevention and reduction of crimes committed within the young society of the country. The project took place in four phases with a practical and scientific solution, and with the cooperation of the Organization for Defending Victims of Violence.

The project was implemented with the cooperation of the Organization for Defending Victims of Violence (ODVV) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The scientific methods of project formulation were taught in five workshops with the help of experts from UNDP and IOM. The course was held in August 2004.
