A series of bomb attacks targeting Iraqi security forces in Baghdad has killed at least seven and injured around 25 others, police say.

Press TV (12 January 2009) - A roadside bomb attack was immediately followed by another blast of a bomb attached to a car in the Jadidah district of Baghdad.
The two blasts, which happened as a police patrol passed by a bakery in eastern Baghdad, claimed lives of three people, and injured at least 10 people.
A roadside bomb struck a police patrol and wounded three policemen and a civilian in Ghazaliya district in western Baghdad.
Another roadside bomb exploded near a police patrol in the central Karrada district in Baghdad, leaving one civilian dead and four policemen wounded.
Three soldiers have been killed and four civilians wounded in separate bombs aimed at Iraqi army lorry carrying ammunition, according to the police.
