Fars News Agency (21October 2009) - "The government of Pakistan will cooperate with the government of Iran for arresting the elements involved in Zahedan's catastrophe," Pakistani Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira told reporters in Islamabad.
"The federal cabinet (of Pakistan) has strongly condemned the aforementioned terrorist operation and decided that the Pakistani government should cooperate with the neighboring country of Iran," he went on saying.
The Pakistan-based terrorist group Jundollah, headed by Abdolmalek Rigi, has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack in the city of Sarbaz in Sistan and Balouchestan province which killed 42 and wounded 28 others.
Iran says it has evidence proving that the Jundollah terrorist group operates out of Pakistan.
Kaira further reiterated that his government will never make a deal or compromise with the terrorists and wants terrorism to be completely wiped out.
Meantime, In Islamabad, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told Reuters, "We will help them (Iran) and support them in unearthing the people responsible."
"We will sort this thing out on a government-to-government basis," he noted.
