In a group action with the cooperation of UNIC, UNA-IRAN commemorated the International Day of the Eradication of Poverty with the participation of 300843 school students.
In a circular to all secondary schools across the country, Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Education and Training had asked school heads to get the students of all Tehran Province to read the UN Secretary General’s message for the day at precisely 8 am on 19 October.
This by far has been the largest simultaneous cooperation that UNA-IRAN has managed to organize to-date.
