London International Model United Nations 2009
October 13, 2008

The 10th Session of London International Model United Nations 2009 (LIMUN) will be held in London from  13 February to 15 February 2009.

Both newcomers and experience MUNers can look forward to fast-paced and intellectually stimulating debates with 800 other student delegates in the heart of one of the most exciting, vibrant and diverse cities in the world.

This session sees the introduction of ECOSOC and WTO – two committees in which important global issues that we face today will be discussed. Together with the other committees, they will be chaired by Directors who will have been selected especially for their ability to moderate, direct, challenge and motivate delegates.

Applications for delegates will open in early October and you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure your place at the conference. Delegates with more experience are encouraged to apply for the more challenging committees of the International Court of Justice or the Crisis Committee.

Of course, LIMUN plans to be memorable not only for its debates but also for its social events. Given that this session will be a special one, the Secretariat are working hard to organise some fantastic social events.
